After working hard this nine weeks our students were recognized during the Honors Program.

I had to ask about five classmates before I found anyone who would hold the tarantula Terminix brought to Family Math and Science night. These two girls were NOT scared.

100th Day of School

What do you think you will look like when you are 100? The students came to school dressed like they were 100 to celebrate the 100th day of school? 

The Case of the Missing Drum

Our school had fun solving the Case of the Missing Drum. This was part of our Family Math and Science event. We welcomed guest speaker Officer Spearman from the CSI unit of Memphis Police Department.

 

 

Reading Celebration

Our class read a lot of great books this nine weeks. Here are our top readers selecting books of their own to keep from the book cart. We want to thank Mrs. Hamer for coordinating this event.

Homework Club

Our class loves participating in the Homework Club. Each month everyone starts out in the Homework Club. If they do their homework every day they get to stay in the Homework Club. At the end of the month all Homework Club members get to select a coupon from our coupon box. This month we ran out of the "Bring a Stuffed Animal" coupons. We let a few new American Girl Dolls slip in with the stuffed animals this month.
