Read for the Record

We were so happy the Berclair Bear came to visit our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade classes this week.  He dropped off The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by: Julia Sarcone-Roach. We had volunteers come read the book to these classes Thursday.  Thanks for all your help.

New Chapter

Next week I will start a New Chapter of my life. I am happy to share I will be the new librarian at Berclair Elementary. I'm very excited about this opportunity to work at another school in my neighborhood. 

20 Years

Today I  share that this was the end of my teaching career at White Station Elementary. During this time I have taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grades. I've served as the Science Lab and Computer Lab teacher. I have enjoyed all of the time I have been at WSE. I am now moving on to start a new chapter in my life. 

20 years Spartan Strong. 

Field Day

The rain didn't keep us from having a wonderful field day.

My class won the Scooter Relay. I took a victory lap to celebrate.

Our class had a busy time.

SAT 10 Week

We are half way done with our SAT 10 test. Huge THANK YOU to the Fitch family for providing our class with snacks. My students LOVE the Snacks And Treats @ 10 this week.

The Literature Lady

Our class is so blessed to have the Literature Lady (Grandma Taylor) visit our class each week. Grandma reads and discuses books with my students and adds a personal touch. She also helps us with our writing.

Everyone had fun working on our latest bulletin board. First, we started by reading Diary of a Worm. Next, we made Dirt Pudding. Then, we wrote about how to make Dirt Pudding using transition words. Finally, we created a visual to add to our writing.
