Library Helpers

I have several student helpers who have been learning how to run the school library. They are learning how to run the circulation desk and check the books in and out. Another group of students have been learning to shelve the fiction books.  Student helpers also assistant with the laptops and laptop cart.

Grimes United Methodist Church

We would like to thank Grimes United Methodist Church for purchasing  books for our book club.  They recently  purchased  25 copies of Magic Treehouse number 50 Hurry up Houdini by Mary Pope Osborne. This  generous donation  makes it possible for every child to have their own book to read during bookclub.  Thank you church members.

Book Club

Our Book Club has gotten off to a great start this year. We just started Magic Treehouse number 50 Hurry up Houdini by Mary Pope Osborne.

DonorsChoose

We have been blessed with four DonorsChoose Grants this year. We  started the year with Bookworms Love to Move.  We received a lot of manipulatives to help our stories come to life. Frogs Hop, Dance, and Read too!!! provided my students with very cute rug for activities. Literature Review Buckets  updated the baskets we use each week for our Literature Review Time. Chromebook Craze equipped the library with a new up to day laptop. I appreciate all the people and companies that have to my students.
