On October 2nd, Office Max surprised 1,000 teachers with $1000 of school supplies through their outreach program called “A Day Made Better.” There were only three teachers selected in my area, and I was one of those fortunate teachers. My class and I were in the computer lab working when the trucks pulled up to unload the goodies. When I realized what was going on, I was so excited that one of my co-workers was getting such a wonderful treat. The assistant principal and facilitator loaded the goodies up and away they went with the Office Max staff. When they rolled into the computer lab I was SHOCKED! I was receiving the “Day Made Better Award.” My students and I were so happy. We received a new digital camera, all-in-one printer, school supplies, office supplies, and much, much more. Office Max of Germantown truly made our DAY BETTER!!
